Candidate for MCA — Kamenu Ward
|
Born on this ridge, raised on its markets and its footpaths. I'm asking Kamenu for the chance to turn our shared work of the last decade into a seat that answers to you — every road, every clinic, every shilling accounted for.
About the Candidate
Kamenu Primary & KABAA HIGH, before a DIPLOMA in Shipping And Logistics & Administration from the University of Nairobi.
Twelve years in community organizing and county-level advocacy — from youth savings groups to water-project committees.
Started as a village youth representative in 2015; served on the Ward Development Committee before stepping forward for MCA.
A Kamenu where every household has passable roads, clean water, and a genuine stake in how ward funds are spent.
Bring transparent, accountable representation to the Assembly — and bring the Assembly's decisions back to Kamenu's villages.
Integrity, service, and consultation. Decisions made with residents, never simply announced to them.
The Manifesto
Grading and graveling of key feeder roads linking villages to markets.
Ward-level skills funds, apprenticeships, and access to the Hustler-style credit schemes.
Table-banking support and reserved seats on all ward tender committees.
Upgrading Kamenu Health Centre and stocking it reliably with essential medicine.
Bursary transparency and infrastructure grants for local primary schools.
Solar streetlights on trading centres and support for Nyumba Kumi patrols.
Rehabilitating existing water pans and extending piped water to underserved villages.
A modernised, weather-proof Kamenu market with fair, published stall fees.
A ward Huduma desk so residents don't travel to town for basic documents.
Subsidised inputs and a proper collection centre for tea and dairy farmers.
Riparian tree-planting along the ward's streams and gully-erosion control.
Quarterly public ward-fund reports, published and read out at village barazas.
